BACK IN THE CATHEDRAL FOR SATURDAY
Note your rehearsal breaks. There are numerous cafes and food outlets in the region of Christ Church
The soloists and players arrive through the course of Saturday afternoon and our first tutti rehearsal will be ay 4pm. Choir needs to be in place by 3.45pm
Dining on Saturday evening is informal so hook up with your fellow singers and book in advance ..here are a few hints from our host…
On the Saturday night, people can make their own arrangements. If you wish to try without booking, I’d recommend Geoff’s cafe bar in John St, or McLeary’s on the Quay.
For restaurants requiring booking, the strong advice is book sooner rather than later. If you’d like some recommendations, I’d mention Everett’s (next door to Emiliano’s), The Reg (opposite the hotel), Bodega on John St, or Momo’s on Patrick St.Alternatively people may simply wish to use the bar food or the restaurant in the hotel. Even then, the staff advise me that booking ahead is advisable.
